Professional ad design is recommended for your ad in the North Shore Explorer guide. It is an important piece of advertising for your brand and it should look top-notch and professional.

North Shore Explorer File Specifications
Ads designed for print media need to meet certain specifications in order to print properly, unlike ads for digital media.
Important things to point out:
Software such as Adobe InDesign or Photoshop are recommended to create your ad. Programs such as Adobe Spark and Canva are designed for digital media and do not offer the specifications required for this type of print media.
Provide this information to your designer PRIOR to them designing the ad. If they have questions, we can help. We can also provide Adobe InDesign Presets which make formatting easy.
If you are making the ad yourself and are unfamiliar with these specifications, we can walk you through it. Just let me know if you have questions.

- JPG, PNG, Publisher, Word Documents, etc. are NOT acceptable.
- Preferred file format is PDF/x-1a2001, TIF, EPS, or native InDesign.
